Elle examine comment l\u2019enseignement du tahitien \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de la Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise peut contribuer \u00e0 une meilleure (r\u00e9)appropriation des langues et des cultures polyn\u00e9siennes et quels outils et approches p\u00e9dagogiques peuvent \u00eatre envisag\u00e9s pour repenser cet enseignement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s vingt ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience en tant qu\u2019enseignante du tahitien, nous proposons une r\u00e9flexion autour d\u2019une contextualisation sociodidactique de l\u2019enseignement du tahitien permettant aux \u00e9tudiants de surmonter leur ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 linguistique. Pour ce faire, une enqu\u00eate par questionnaire aupr\u00e8s de 129 \u00e9tudiants de licence en parcours \u00ab Langues polyn\u00e9siennes \u00bb a permis d\u2019\u00e9tudier leurs pratiques langagi\u00e8res et leurs repr\u00e9sentations sociales au cours de leur vie, et plusieurs exp\u00e9rimentations p\u00e9dagogiques innovantes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en place \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 pour mesurer leurs impacts sur les apprentissages des \u00e9tudiants. L\u2019analyse des r\u00e9ponses au questionnaire permet de d\u00e9crire et de comprendre la situation sociolinguistique des \u00e9tudiants bas\u00e9e sur une diglossie, voire une triglossie (fran\u00e7ais-tahitien-autres langues polyn\u00e9siennes). Elle permet aussi de relever la place de l\u2019alternance codique et la copr\u00e9sence du tahitien et du fran\u00e7ais en envisageant ces pratiques langagi\u00e8res comme tremplin possible dans l\u2019enseignement du tahitien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats recueillis lors des exp\u00e9rimentations (classe renvers\u00e9e, recherche-implication avec la traduction en tahitien du Proph\u00e8te de Gibran, recherche-action avec une sortie p\u00e9dagogique culturelle \u00e0 Mo\u2019orea, recherche-cr\u00e9ation avec une exposition itin\u00e9rante et inclusive autour de la l\u00e9gende mythique du \u2019uru ou fruit de l\u2019arbre \u00e0 pain) mettent en \u00e9vidence l\u2019importance des effets de contexte sur l\u2019acquisition et la (r\u00e9)appropriation culturelle et linguistique et le changement de posture des \u00e9tudiants face \u00e0 l\u2019apprentissage des langues polyn\u00e9siennes. Pour compl\u00e9ter cette recherche, des entretiens semi-directifs sur l\u2019\u00e9tat actuel de l\u2019enseignement du tahitien ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s aupr\u00e8s de plusieurs personnes (ministres et inspecteurs de l\u2019\u00c9ducation nationale, pasteurs de l\u2019\u00c9glise protestante M\u0101\u2019ohi, maires de commune).
