Ing\u00e9nieure de formation, Flora Artzner a consacr\u00e9 du temps ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es \u00e0 sa passion sportive dans laquelle elle a excell\u00e9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 se hisser au rang de championne du monde. Elle a souhait\u00e9 mettre sa notori\u00e9t\u00e9 grandissante au service de la pr\u00e9servation de l\u2019environnement au c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la Fondation Science4REEFS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Science4REEFS se consacre \u00e0 la recherche scientifique, \u00e0 la sensibilisation du public, et \u00e0 l’action pour la protection de ces \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes marins essentiels mais en danger. Ce moment privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 sera l\u2019occasion de r\u00e9unir des scientifiques, des passionn\u00e9s de l\u2019oc\u00e9an et des acteurs locaux autour d’une m\u00eame vision : pr\u00e9server et restaurer les r\u00e9cifs coralliens pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Lors de cette pr\u00e9sentation, le public d\u00e9couvrira la mission de la fondation, ses objectifs ambitieux, et les projets d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours pour \u00e9tudier, prot\u00e9ger et revitaliser ces \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes marins uniques. Laetitia H\u00e9douin, fondatrice de la fondation et chercheure sp\u00e9cialiste du corail, nous montrera comment la science, alli\u00e9e \u00e0 l’engagement communautaire et \u00e0 la passion, peut faire une r\u00e9elle diff\u00e9rence face aux menaces climatiques et environnementales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biographie des conf\u00e9renci\u00e8res<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Flora Artzner est une athl\u00e8te fran\u00e7aise pionni\u00e8re dans le monde du wingfoil, une discipline de glisse combinant surf et voile qui a rapidement gagn\u00e9 en popularit\u00e9. Passionn\u00e9e par les sports de glisse depuis son plus jeune \u00e2ge, Flora a d’abord pratiqu\u00e9 la planche \u00e0 voile avant de d\u00e9couvrir le wingfoil. Elle s’est rapidement impos\u00e9e sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son talent, sa d\u00e9termination et son approche audacieuse de la discipline. Elle a remport\u00e9 plusieurs comp\u00e9titions majeures et continue de repousser les limites du sport en r\u00e9alisant des performances de haut niveau. Ambassadrice de la Fondation Science4Reefs, Flora utilise sa notori\u00e9t\u00e9 pour sensibiliser \u00e0 la pr\u00e9servation des oc\u00e9ans, renfor\u00e7ant son image de championne non seulement sur les vagues mais aussi dans son engagement envers la plan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laetitia H\u00e9douin est une scientifique fran\u00e7aise et directrice de recherche au CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l\u2019\u00e9tude des coraux. Passionn\u00e9e par les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes marins, elle a d\u00e9di\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re \u00e0 la pr\u00e9servation et \u00e0 la compr\u00e9hension des r\u00e9cifs coralliens, ces environnements fragiles essentiels \u00e0 la biodiversit\u00e9 marine. \u00c0 travers ses recherches, Laetitia s\u2019int\u00e9resse particuli\u00e8rement aux m\u00e9canismes de r\u00e9silience des coraux face aux menaces croissantes que repr\u00e9sentent le changement climatique, la pollution, et les perturbations humaines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Ses travaux de recherche, men\u00e9s en collaboration avec des institutions internationales, visent \u00e0 identifier des solutions pour prot\u00e9ger et restaurer les r\u00e9cifs coralliens, essentiels \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 des oc\u00e9ans et des populations c\u00f4ti\u00e8res. En plus de ses contributions scientifiques, Laetitia H\u00e9douin est une communicatrice engag\u00e9e, d\u00e9termin\u00e9e \u00e0 sensibiliser le public aux enjeux environnementaux et \u00e0 promouvoir une meilleure compr\u00e9hension des d\u00e9fis qui p\u00e8sent sur les coraux.
Par son expertise et son engagement, Laetitia joue un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la recherche en \u00e9cologie marine, inspirant la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de chercheurs et mobilisant la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pour agir en faveur de la pr\u00e9servation des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes marins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
