Pr\u00e9sentation de la conf\u00e9rence <\/summary>\n

La construction identitaire s\u2019op\u00e8re au gr\u00e9 de facteurs multiples, notamment en lien avec les id\u00e9es de transfert, d\u2019\u00e9change, de circulation d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments, mais aussi d\u2019h\u00e9ritage, notions particuli\u00e8rement pertinentes dans le cas des peuples du Pacifique, dont l\u2019art musical, reflet de leur histoire, m\u00eale constituants autochtones et apports exog\u00e8nes. Nombreux sont les ethnomusicologues \u00e0 souligner la facilit\u00e9 d\u00e9concertante des Polyn\u00e9siens \u00e0 se r\u00e9approprier les codes musicaux ext\u00e9rieurs pour donner naissance \u00e0 des formes artistiques nouvelles. Construction prot\u00e9iforme qui r\u00e9sulte de la transmission et de la transformation de fragments divers, sur le mode de l\u2019hybridation ou du syncr\u00e9tisme, l\u2019identit\u00e9 musicale des communaut\u00e9s du Pacifique est l\u2019aboutissement d\u2019un processus r\u00e9solument inscrit dans le temps, dont le passage in\u00e9luctable pose aussi la question de la pr\u00e9servation des formes artistiques dites \u00ab traditionnelles \u00bb et de leur essence dans un contexte perp\u00e9tuellement changeant, par ailleurs marqu\u00e9 par l\u2019omnipr\u00e9sence, dans la Polyn\u00e9sie contemporaine, de l\u2019influence culturelle anglophone.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Biographie du conf\u00e9rencier <\/summary>\n

Florent Atem est Ma\u00eetre de conf\u00e9rences \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de la Polyn\u00e9sie fran\u00e7aise, o\u00f9 il enseigne la civilisation am\u00e9ricaine et la linguistique anglaise. Agr\u00e9g\u00e9 d\u2019anglais et laur\u00e9at du Prix de th\u00e8se 2016 d\u2019Aix-Marseille Universit\u00e9, il est sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019exp\u00e9dition Lewis et Clark ainsi que de la jeune r\u00e9publique nord-am\u00e9ricaine. Co-auteur d\u2019une \u00e9tude comparative du tahitien, du fran\u00e7ais et de l\u2019anglais, il s\u2019int\u00e9resse aussi aux rapports entre tradition musicale, histoire et identit\u00e9 chez les peuples d\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Nord et du Pacifique.
